Meridia advocates for an NDIS that is not only sustainable, but safe, fair and effective for the people who rely on it.
Through this submission to the Joint Standing Committee Inquiry into NDIS Integrity, the Group highlighted the real-world impacts of fraud, weak regulation, provider failures and systemic underfunding on participants, families and service providers. Drawing on frontline experience across disability, psychosocial disability and supported employment, the submission called for stronger safeguards, better recognition of support coordination and clinical oversight, improved regulation of unregistered providers, and policy settings that support quality, registered providers to continue delivering safe and sustainable supports.
At its core, the submission argues that integrity, participant safety and a strong provider sector are inseparable.
