Shaping change through action
Meridia works alongside people, families, communities, our workforce, and sector leaders to influence policy, improve systems and create better outcomes for the people we support.
Through lived experience, frontline insights and partnerships, we contribute to conversations that shape disability, mental health, employment, housing and community services across Australia.

Get Real Podcast: Inclusive Leadership – Nothing About Us, Without Us
Through our Get Real: Talking Mental Health & Disability podcast, Meridia amplifies the voices of people with lived and living experience, creating space for authentic conversations that challenge barriers and drive inclusion. In this episode, Andrew Radford shares his journey as a long-time advocate for people with intellectual disability and autism, reflecting on the importance of representation, inclusive leadership and ensuring that people with lived experience are involved in decisions that affect their lives. Andrew’s insights highlight the principle of “nothing about us, without us” and the positive impact of genuine participation at every level of leadership.
